Poor souls, centered in their selfish earth
How could, silence for what suffers worth
Old worms (?), should never reach these excesses
Define terms, that lease you to another friend
Chorus
sometimes the G is played like the Bb and C (open strings)

But not within our time

It settles for the night

Bass Breakdown: they strum a D, then jam on D
It's a slap/pop riff, so slap the A or D string, and pop the G string
G|-----7-----6-----6-----4-------------7-----6-----6-----4---6-----
D|-------------0h7---0h5-----------------------0h7---0h5--/7---7---

Slow Section
Play this 4 times, the 2nd 2 times, sit extra long on the G and the A...
D/F# G E/G# A
--------------------------0---------
-------3-------3--------------0---2-
-----------2---0--------1---------2-
-----0---------0--------2---------2-
---------------x------------------0-
-2-------------3----4---------------
Then back to the jam in D, here's a riff used a lot in the jam...
rake->
E|-----------------14-15-16-17--
B|-----15-------15--------------
G|---14------14-----------------
D|-16-----16--------------------
A|------------------------------
E|------------------------------
Then back to the slow part, it's the same at first, but then a little
different, since it repeats the D/F# > G a couple times before going
to the E/G# > A, listen to it and you'll get it. Then more jam in D,
then typically off into never never land.
